Monumental

Monumental takes a subtle approach to lighting, using a gentle glow to highlight the natural cracks and flowing grain patterns of the wood.  While diminutive in size at only 2″ x 2″ x 14″, it is distinctive in presence–a monument to the natural beauty of this Madrone.

Monumental was made for the curated exhibition Lighten Up! presented by Coast Collective, TC Space, and SOBU Oakland.  The exhibition opened in Fort Bragg, CA at TC Space Gallery in May 2025 and traveled to SOBU in Oakland, CA for June 2025.  This work has been sold.
