Triptychs

Captivated by the mesmerizing insect trails in this stump of ash, Triptychs and Ashes were both conceived as decorative works to visually center these chaotic, organic patterns.  They are simultaneously a memorial to the dying ash species and a recognition of the beauty left behind by this destruction.

Triptychs was made during my time at the Museum for Art in Wood as a resident fellow in their 2024 Windgate Arts Residency Program (WARP) .  It was on display at the museum in the exhibition “Fruition”.
